The inspiration for this design came while I was walking through a lush botanical garden on the West coast of Ireland.  I was looking at a strawberry tree ‘Arbutus unedo’ and thought of the famous  Strawberry Thief by William Morris, I decided to have a go at my own more contemporary version but thought it was important to show the ‘strawberries’ individually as they are so bitter ‘unedo’ means I eat only one!
