While sitting amongst our packing cases when we last moved house thinking that it would be nice to get on with some work and leave the dreaded boxes but the only thing that wasn’t packed was a beautiful jasmine plant growing up the wall. I find it hard not to like jasmine with it’s wonderful smell and all pervasive tendrils so I drew it and then added in some birds. Once drawn I cut the whole thing out in lino as I love the marks the printing makes as the block lifts from the paper.
